Getting Well

Thank you Behr Behr!
Behr Behr sent me a get well soon card, she emailed me a very sweet admiring message that made my tail wag. Mummy said it’s okay and to have admirers and sniffings because I am a young male dog that probably has a very nice scent, ‘probably’? what does she mean ‘probably’? I’m sure I smell good. She said that Faya also has lots of doggies that admire her and would like to sniff her out and that we domestic dogs are all quite open about our fondness of each other and thats okay.
Now there’s a few other things I’m not sure about. Whilst I’ve been stuck indoors my Mummy has put animal shows on the TV for me to watch whilst I rest my poor paw. BUT when I’ve been for a car ride I’ve noticed some rather new doggie smells in the truck.
Now who are these guys sitting in MY truck??
My sister Sophie, who also has aquired some unrecognisable smells on her denies ever meeting this bunch BUT, I found these pictures of her on my hard drive. Now she’s a tall girl but check out the size of that fella she’s double de sniffing. Rumour has it that the pooches in the car above are the Welwyn Garden 5 that Dad has been walking for another dog walker and the blonde fella in the picture below is a customer that Sophie has helped Dad walk. Sophie said she met the big Dane man on the common and he smelt good…looks like he thinks she smells good too. Maybe he thought she was a baby Dane, she is a bit gangly and baby girafee Daney.
And look at this fella looking all proud sitting next to my sister.
There’s some serious introductions to be done when I get back on my paws. In the mean time I’ll continue to be bored, watch animal shows, laugh at the bright coloured socks Mum dresses me in and meditate some more.
Thank you to all my buddies who have left such lovely get well messages and to Behr Behr for her lovely card. By the way, Mum found the other stitches on my wound – phew, I won’t fall to pieces. They were regular black ones at the top of the wound, unlike the heavy duty sail chord on the bottom.
Paws crossed that on Monday the V. E. T says I can go check out some of these strangers.
Oh my poor George. I am so sorry you have to stay home. But maybe next week you will be able to escape again and we could meet again ???? Hmmmm…… Tell your vet how nice I am and tell him we will be very nice dogs…

Hi George and Sophie,
I’m so sorry you are still laid up but you do look so cute with your pretty socks. Mommy had to laugh because when she had her surgery on her foot she wore all kind of crazy socks for the 3 months she had a cast on. I wasn’t around then but my angel sister Samantha told me that the Mommy looked like a dorky Doofuss.
Mommy can’t decide what picture you sent me to use when we do my brother/sister post but she says she’s gonna use one of those and another one from your bloggoe if that ok.
